With a standard truck alignment, we meticulously adjust the suspension and steering components of the vehicle to optimize your tire angles for maximum contact with the road.
Trust us to keep your truck on track!
The Wheel Alignment Process
A semi- or heavy-duty truck’s wheel alignment process is crucial to vehicle maintenance.
Wheel alignments involve adjusting the angle of each wheel relative to the vehicle frame and to each other to ensure that all wheels are pointing in the same direction.
Misaligned wheels can cause many problems, including uneven tire wear, poor steering, and accelerated suspension wear.
Aligning a semi or heavy-duty truck involves several steps, including measuring the current alignment, adjusting the steering and suspension as needed, and verifying the final alignment.
While the process may seem straightforward, it requires specialized equipment and experienced technicians to ensure the job is done right.
In the end, a well-aligned heavy-duty truck will not only extend the life of the vehicle, but it will also improve safety and handling on the road.

What Our Customers Are Saying About Us
I had a roadside breakdown on I-70 due to a coolant fitting failure. They were easy to work with and the tech had made this same repair previously on other trucks. The fitting is one that connects the engine head to heater core. They had to stop by a Paccar dealership (in Dayton?) to get the part and then make the roadside repair. They gave me a price estimate before heading my way and the final bill was somewhat less since I didn’t need as much coolant as estimated. Easy to work with, I would recommend them and use them again myself – if needed. My only complaint was that they didn’t open until 8a. I would’ve given 5 stars if they could have rolled at 6a. The parts dept at Paccar opened at 7a so it wasn’t a huge impact on the schedule.
I had a bad miss on my Volvo VN with a Volvo D13 engine in it. They had the software to diagnose the problem and were able to replace the bad injector. I was back on the road the same day. Last time I had this problem I took it to a Volvo dealer, and they took a week before e they would even look at it.
My family and I have been traveling for the past 3 weeks in the RV. We have had terrible luck up until this point with our RV. Needless to say, many tows and service repair work. This business has gone above and beyond. They were completely understand, sympathetic, and willing to help until they figured out what the problem was! We had our dogs, kids, cat, and extended family there with us all day. There were no problems with that. We felt comfortable and at ease here! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone. The quality, communication, and price was just what we needed! Thank you to all who helped!

Semi Alignment FAQs
What is a semi alignment?
Semi-alignment refers to adjusting the wheels’ angles on a semi-truck or heavy-duty commercial vehicle to ensure they are parallel, perpendicular, and properly aligned with the vehicle’s frame. This helps optimize tire wear, fuel efficiency, and overall handling.
Why is proper alignment important for semis?
Proper alignment is crucial for semis because it ensures even tire wear, improves fuel efficiency, enhances stability and handling, and reduces the risk of premature mechanical issues. It also contributes to a smoother and safer driving experience, especially when carrying heavy loads.
How often should I get my semi aligned?
Having your semi-aligned at least once a year or every 25,000 to 30,000 miles is recommended. However, if you notice any signs of misalignment, such as uneven tire wear or the vehicle pulling to one side, it is best to have it checked and aligned promptly.
How long does a semi alignment service take?
The duration of a semi-alignment service can vary depending on the specific requirements and condition of the vehicle. On average, an alignment service typically takes around 1 to 2 hours. However, it’s best to consult with the Wayne Truck & Trailer professionals for a more accurate estimate.
Can misalignment affect other components of my semi?
Yes, misalignment can stress various components of your semi, including tires, suspension system, steering mechanism, and even the frame. Over time, this can lead to accelerated wear and potential damage to these parts, resulting in costly repairs. Regular alignment helps prevent such issues.
How can I tell if my semi needs an alignment?
Look for signs such as uneven tire wear, vehicle pulling to one side, steering wheel vibration, or a drifting sensation while driving. If you notice any of these indications or have concerns about your semi’s alignment, it’s best to schedule an inspection and alignment service.
Can I align my semi on my own?
Alignment is a specialized process that requires professional equipment, knowledge, and expertise. Attempting to align a semi on your own without proper training and equipment can result in inaccurate alignment and potential damage to the vehicle. It is highly recommended to rely on experienced professionals for alignment services.
How much does a semi alignment service cost?
The cost of semi alignment services can vary based on factors such as the specific make and model of the vehicle, the extent of alignment needed, and the region. For accurate pricing information, please contact Wayne Truck & Trailer directly for a personalized quote.
